Meet Dr. Katie Mathis - Your Hometown Dentist
Dr. Katie was born and raised in Fairfax and Cedar Rapids, IA and is very excited to open her own dental practice in her hometown. Dr. Mathis graduated from Xavier High School in 2008 and then attended the University of Northern Iowa. She completed her dental school education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2016. She has been practicing in the Cedar Rapids area for over 6 years and will be opening the doors to Prairie Creek Dental in April 2023. She has spent the last 2+ years planning, designing and building her dream office and cannot wait to start seeing patients in this brand new space. Dr. Mathis focuses on patient-centered care and sees patients of all ages with varying treatment needs.
Dr. Katie and her husband, Grant, have two beautiful children: Madeline, who is 18 months, and Miles, who was born in December. In their free time, the Mathis family enjoys all activities outdoors including boating, fishing and skiing and love spending time with their extended family. As the sole owners of this practice, Dr. Katie and Grant are very excited to grow their locally owned business in this community and look forward to establishing a true family practice. We are so excited to embark on this journey and look forward to meeting all the wonderful and smiling faces of our community.
